Financial Literacy makes us aware of falling easy prey to phishing and cyber fraud. Therefore, a CBSE workshop on Financial Literacy was conducted by CS Aishwarya Tripathi at Birla Public School, Kishangarh on 6 Feb 2023 wherein around 80 teachers from various schools participated. The initiative was a part of activities related to Investor Education and Awareness Initiative in terms of SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996. The prime takeaways for the teachers were:
• Investments in SIPs, shares, mutual funds and life and health insurance policies.
• How to deal with funds and finances
• Where and where not to invest
• Cyber Fraud and phishing
The real-life experiences were shared by the resource person and attendees which made the session more interesting and interactive. Eventually, the session proved beneficial for the attendees as they clarified their doubts regarding investments and realised the importance of managing earnings prudently.
