Activity-based learning is regular and perennial in Birla International School to ensure the dynamic participation of the students and to encourage them to learn the concepts through their own experiences. To enforce such learning, activities on dice and digits and addition/subtraction were conducted for the students of classes V and VII respectively during the regular lessons of Mathematics on 7 April 2022 wherein the students learnt about place values and number values and to add or subtract two or more integers using a number line that heightened their confidence and helped them think creatively and connect with the real-life situations like calculating temperature, business, accounts etc.
