The students of grade VII visited science lab to learn about different types of indicators and their role in chemical reactions. The students explored the use of indicators and performed experiments to know how indicators change colour in acidic, basic and neutral mediums. With this lab experience the students found that all colourless liquid cannot be water. The activity also served the purpose of rendering them an introduction to acids, bases and pH.
