ENHANCING LEARNING EXPERIENCE

The virtual world is so accessible that the globe has turned out to be a shrunken, small periphery where the opportunities are plenty and information is available on just a click in a jiffy. If we fish for the word ‘success’ on Google, the myriad definitions make a ubiquitous sight resulting in the outcomes of multiple websites; however, we will find merely one or two interpretations meaningful to us. It happens due to the differences in our experiences. Then the question needs to addressed -What is the attribution of experience in our success? Hence let’s dive deep in the ocean of abstracts and have a clear insight into the acquisition of learning.

The uppermost knowledge and success are the attribution of self-acquisition when we have crystal clear understanding of own style of learning, and the capability we need to hone our skills. The moment we are well prepared to guide our lives to the idyllic world of acquisition where we take the real responsibility of our learning, we head for a transformation journey. Taking credit of success is common, whereas taking responsibility for a lost battle seems either a herculean task or as the phrase says ‘crying for the moon’. Self- acquisition helps us face the surging waves and overcome the fear of unknown.

Self-Discipline plays a decisive role throughout our lives if we focus on transforming our learning experience. Discipline is like a gardener who creates paradise out of bushes and plants and contrary to that, the moment he develops a sort of lackadaisical attitude spoils the beauty of the garden turning into an abysmal patch of wilderness. Discipline prunes so-called obstacles created and hallucinated as real hampering hurdles in the way of learning. Self-discipline is a locomotive driving us, pushing us and preparing us for our goals and towards our goals.

We always learn from the mistakes we make in any process of work. Our mistakes teach us lifelong lessons. Sometimes any censorious comments may look very harsh though the reality is different, it seems not to gel up with our egoist mind. Failure is a blessing in disguise. Failure has unseen and unknown potential that can break us or grow us. It can strengthen those who take it as a rich source of transformation. Our past is responsible for our present and so with our present for our future. We must strive to empower ourselves with the possession of the gems of skills because our sole companion in coming days will entirely be our skills. Therefore, competition with ourselves and mind beyond any ego are stepping stones guiding us to a better world of growth and adroitness.

When Sachin Tendulkar’s form was being questioned based on his age and injuries, he smashed First Double Century in Indian Cricket History and answered the question in the most elegant style. We should delineate the heroic incident by concluding that

                                                            winners always bounce back.
