With an aim to sensitize the students about the substantial development and call their attention to some environmental issues i.e. climate change, biodiversity loss and depleting natural resources, Earth Day was enthusiastically celebrated at Birla Public School, Kishangarh. Members of Eco Club organised a special morning assembly wherein a short speech to spread awareness about the conservation of the Earth was delivered followed by a thought-provoking skit on the effects of global warming. The assembly culminated with a pledge to plant saplings and protect Mother Earth. On this occasion, a Poster Making Competition was also organised for the students of grades V to VIII to give them the opportunity to showcase their artistic and creative skills.
