It’s well said by Jim Rohn “Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live.”

Good Nutrition is important as its not only meeting the body’s physical requirements but also associated with social, cultural and psychological benefits. Healthy diets along with physical activity are the key to good nutrition and necessary for long and healthy life. Eating nutritious foods and balancing energy intake with the necessary physical activity to maintain a healthy weight essential for all stages of life. Unbalance intake of foods high in energy but low in essential nutrients for commits to energy excess overweight and obesity.

Nutritious diet is not only good for the body but also great food for the brain too. Diet is the most powerful invention we have. By shaping diets, we can improve our mental health. Nutrients might be particularly helpful for treating or preventing mental illness. Vitamin B, Iron, Omega3, Zinc are adequate to prevent diseases.

Food can help tame stress in several ways. A healthy diet can help counter the impact of stress by shoring up the immune system and lowering blood pressure. Good nutrition is an important stress management tool. When our bodies are poorly fed, stress and anxiety take an even greater toll on our health. Nutrition and stress are interlinked. Do you know which foods are stress/anxiety busters?

Avocados, Almond, Raw Veggies, Milk, Herbal Supplements, Yogurt, Complex Carbs,     Oranges ,Spinach ,Fatty Fish, Black Tea and Pistachios.

Eating healthy and allowing the body to absorb proper nutrients provide the brain with the chemical environment needed to produce the neurotransmitters that it needs to maintain adequate sleep.

What you eat or drink in the   hours and minutes before bed may make the difference between a restful slumber and a night of tossing and turning.  If you’re looking for a peaceful night, the following foods you should avoid right before bed.

Ice-Cream, Celery, Pasta, Pizza, Candy-Bars, Garlic, Dark Chocolate, Alcohol, Red Meat and    Caffeine

These are my best tips about eating habits and that will keep you happy health wise and taste wise too.
